National Building Museum
A comprehensive brand identity and environmental design system for one of America's premier institutions dedicated to architecture, design, and construction.
About The Project
Overview
The National Building Museum engaged our studio to develop a new visual identity system that would reflect its mission to advance the understanding of the built environment. Our approach centered on creating a flexible system that honors the institution's architectural heritage while embracing contemporary design principles.
The identity draws inspiration from the museum's iconic Great Hall, featuring soaring Corinthian columns. We translated these architectural elements into a modular typographic system and dynamic visual language that works across digital and physical touchpoints.
